As reported by Event Hubs, there was a lot of exciting news about the upcoming Dead Or Alive 6 revealed after the game’s exhibition at EVO Japan 2019. While we already knew there will be a free-to-play version post launch, it was announced that fans and potential newcomers will soon be able to play a demo that includes EVERY playable character.
The demo will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for February 23-24 only, and it will feature all 24 launch-available characters. For those who stuck with Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate Alliance instead of buying the full game, this means you’ll briefly be able to fight with more characters than just Ayane and Kasumi. The demo will also include story content, training mode, and online matches so you can spar with strangers around the world.
SNK’s Mia Shiranui is also returning to the Dead Or Alive roster as a guest character, and Koei Tecmo additionally announced a Season Pass which contains 62 new costumes such as a “happy wedding” theme where all the women get to be the bride rather than the bridesmaid.
Dead Or Alive 6 was originally slated to join February’s biggest games, but it has since been delayed to March 1. If you plan on getting the series’ sixth instalment, you should know that it has better graphics on Xbox One than the PlayStation 4.
While Dead Or Alive 6 is trying to be more serious and put the focus back on fighting rather than jiggling breasts, Xtreme 3 Scarlet is a shameless spin-off that blatantly doesn’t care about Sony’s censorship rules.
