Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf return in an epic new trailer for their latest adventure
It was always likely that Disney's most successful film ever was going to get a sequel.
Frozen earned a record-breaking $1.2b at the box office after its 2013 release, a total no animated film has ever come close to.
Now, the long-awaited sequel, Frozen 2, has a brand new trailer and it looks far more moody than the original film.
For most of the trailer, we see Elsa apparently stranded on an island, surrounded by ocean, desperately trying to escape but being repelled by a constant onslaught of waves.
After seeing Elsa toppled time and again by the waves, we cut to our first glimpse of Anna. She looks shocked as her home is surrounded by a sea of mystical looking shapes.
Kristoff and Sven make a brief appearance, the pair look ready for action and are now joined by a whole heard of Reindeer.
And of course, it wouldn't be Frozen without the world's most adorable snowman, Olaf.
The trailer ends with all our intrepid heroes, on the cusp of adventure, gazing out across a wide tree-filled valley.
The darker tone to the trailer will surely get fans of the Disney franchise talking.
Frozen 2 is coming to cinemas on November 22, 2019.
