Leeds midfielder misses out tonight through injury.
Forshaw will be doing work with the club's media team instead, and Leeds' official twitter account sent a message out asking for questions for the former Middlesbrough midfielder.
Forshaw's form has taken a dip over the past month and Leeds' tweet has only served to invite more criticism.
| The build up for tonight's game starts from 7pm on LUTV! Send in your questions for #LUFC midfielder Adam Forshaw to firstname.lastname@example.org— Leeds United (@LUFC) February 13, 2019
Here is a look at some of the responses to this message, and Leeds' earlier announcement he will be on LUTV.
If you could play a pass forward, sideways or backwards, would you play it sideways or backwards? Cheers— Kieran Edwards (@K_Edwards18) February 13, 2019
What are the chances of us going one nil down after reaching 70 percent possession?— Graeme Bottomley (@BottomleyGraeme) February 13, 2019
Like how could you be a world beater against fwank Lampards Derby and a carpet beater most other games. Also how do you get tackled by a man sat on his arse— Paul Williams (@paulwilliams105) February 13, 2019
Also not interested in what Forshaw has to say! He’s done his talking on the pitch that was poor, boring and accident prone.— ShadyDealer (@Shadydealer) February 12, 2019
aren’t you trying to gain subscribers to lutv not lose them?— George (@GeorgeWIufc) February 12, 2019
It's clear Forshaw has some work to do win supporters back around, 13 months after he clinched his move to the club.
Despite the flak he is receiving, appearing on the club's media channel will do him some good and can win around fans.
Most important is that Leeds get one over on Swansea this evening, which will lift the spirits across the club and help players get fans back onside.
