Defender picks up two game ban for challenge on Celtic defender after unsuccessful appeal.
Hibernian defender Darnell Johnson is facing a two game ban after a challenge on Celtic left-back Emiliano Izaguirre.
Hibs appealed the ban, and were unsuccessful, BBC Sport reported.
Johnson was making his debut in the game against Celtic, kicking off his loan spell from Leicester City.
Hibs fans have been left frustrated, arguing that Celtic players were just as deserving of suspensions.
Celtic players Scott Brown and Jozo Simunovic were named by Hibs supporters as opponents who they felt were no worse than Johnson.
Would be willing to accept this if celtic players were treated the same— GGTTH Wilson (@Dick_head1875) February 12, 2019
Did Scott Brown and Simunovic also get a 2 game ban for worse challenges that were made in the same game?— Parry (@parry1875) February 12, 2019

One for another...nothing changes at the GFA
No point in holding out any hope of @HibernianFC standing up and speaking out against this decision. Proven time and time again that only two clubs in Scotland have any chance when it comes to the @ScottishFA— Persevered (@Calum_McC) February 12, 2019
Not surprised by this and he probably deserves it - but how do they decide who should and who shouldn't be punished - McGInn Power Brown Simunovic all worse challenges and yet no review of their challenges— Steve G (@Hib7062) February 12, 2019
Unbelievable how brown gets off all the time but every other club gets punished— kevin main (@kevinma76986340) February 12, 2019
It has been a busy few weeks for the SFA since the winter break and not everybody will be happy.
Celtic fans feel Rangers get a better deal and vice versa, while supporters outside the Old Firm believe the two clubs get unfair advantages, as seen with the Hibs' fans comments above.
