Confirmed Brentford v Aston Villa line-ups: Hause starts, Smith names teenager on bench

Brentford host Aston Villa in the Championship this evening.

Brentford starting line-up: Bentley; Odubajo, Jeanvier, Konsa, Barbet; Mokotjo, Sawyers, Canos; Benrahma, Watkins, Maupay.

Brentford substitutes: Daniels, McEachran, DaSilva, Ogbene, Field, Forss, Sorensen.

Aston Villa starting line-up: Kalinic; Hutton, Elphick, Mings, Hause; Whelan, McGinn, Hourihane; El Ghazi, Adomah, Abraham.

Brentford play host to former manager Dean Smith this evening, and go with Daniel Bentley in goal behind a back four of Moses Odubajo, Julian Jeanvier, Ezri Konsa and Yoann Barbet.

Kamohelo Mokotjo will be the deepest midfielder, with Romaine Sawyers and Sergi Canos given license to get forward and support Said Benrahma, Ollie Watkins and Neal Maupay.

Luke Daniels is on the bench, alongside Josh McEachran, Josh DaSilva, Chiedozie Ogbene, Tom Field, Marcus Forss and Mads Bech Sorensen.

Meanwhile, Villa start with Lovre Kalinic in goal, operating behind a back four of Alan Hutton, Tommy Elphick, Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause.

Glenn Whelan starts after impressing as a substitute against Sheffield United, with John McGinn and Conor Hourihane further ahead of the veteran anchor man.

Anwar El Ghazi and Albert Adomah start out wide, either side of Tammy Abraham as Jonathan Kodjia has been dropped to the Villa bench tonight, alongside Jed Steer, Mile Jedinak, Andre Green, Birkir Bjarnason, Ahmed Elmohamady and 17-year-old Jacob Ramsey.
