The Scottish Sun has reported that Oliver Burke will see his performances for Celtic rewarded in the form of a Scotland recall.
The West Brom winger has been a revelation since joining Celtic on a half-season loan from the Baggies.
So far, Burke has netted three goals in seven appearances and won rave reviews for his display in the 5-0 demolition of St Johnstone on Sunday, grabbing brilliant assists for two of Scott Sinclair's three goals.
And according to The Scottish Sun, Alex McLeish will bring him in from the cold.
It has been two years since the former starlet last made a senior appearance for his country, before dropping into the Under-21s after his form dipped at Leipzig and later West Brom.
McLeish's side face Kazakhstan in a Euro qualifier on March 21, and then San Marino three days later.
His spell at Parkhead is all about restoring the confidence he has lost in recent years, but this development could see his performances get even better.
He is a man enjoying his football again and much credit must go to Brendan Rodgers, who has clearly had an instant effect on the 21-year-old.
