Liverpool and Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation on the future of Jack Clarke.
According to The Express, Liverpool are interested in signing Clarke from Leeds in the summer of 2019.
It has been reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has sent club personnel to make checks on the 18-year-old and has received impressive results.
The report has also claimed that the Premier League want to secure the services of the teenager - who can operate as a winger or as a forward - even if Leeds win promotion from the Championship at the end of the season.
Clarke has been playing well for Leeds this season, and the 18-year-old has established himself in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s first team.
According to WhoScored, the winger has made four starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process

He can try! Bielsa wouldn’t stand for it!— Linda (@HGWhites) February 11, 2019
The story (as usual) has little to support it, Linda. I'm not even thinking beyond May at the moment. Who knows what will happen in the summer?— Stuart Grant (@McClumsy84) February 11, 2019
If (still a big if) we get promoted he ain’t going anywhere IMHO he’ll sign a long term contract and stay & if anyone wants them they’ll have to pay the crazy & silly going rate for talent English player ... £50m+. If we don’t get promoted however unfortunately I feel he’ll go— Benny (@BennyTaylsLUFC) February 11, 2019
