It has been reported that the 20-year-old - who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder - has been on the radar of Tottenham for some time, and that the North London outfit are ready to make a £35 million for the youngster.
Liverpool are also claimed to be interested in signing Rice from West Ham in the summer of 2019.
Tottenham and West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation on the future of Rice.

Could a transfer happen?
Rice is a very promising and talented young footballer whose versatility is going to make Tottenham a better team.
However, given the rivalry between West Ham and Tottenham, the Hammers may not do business with Spurs over the transfer of Rice, although an offer of £35m could change their mind.
