It looks like a piece of injury news might finally benefit Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino has been rocked by injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli over a whirlwind month for the North Londoners.
Tottenham will face Borussia Dortmund without two of their most influential players this week, but the Bundesliga giants might be also missing a familiar face.
Dortmund's Sporting Director Michael Zorc revealed to Ruhrnachrichten that barring a 'miraculous recovery', Marco Reus will play no part in the first leg of this week's Champions League encounter.
The 29-year-old has 17 goals and eight assists across all competitions this season which, to contextualise his importance for the German giants, is more than Alli in both departments.
Here is how some Spurs fans reacted to the likely blow.
A MASSIVE loss for Dortmund. But they still have plenty off attacking talent to cause us serious problems. With Sancho topping the list.— Aaron Pitters (@aaronpitters) February 10, 2019

Even without Reus, Dortmund, who conceded only twice in the group stage, might still be favourites.
But Tottenham certainly can't be written off and despite not having Kane or Alli, they do have Son Heung-min, who has eight goals in nine games against the Signal Iduna Park side.
