Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age S is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Japan this year, and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy seems bound to join it as one of the Switch’s ever-growing list of third-party games. According to a listing and release date spotted on GameStop Germany’s website (via @SpyroUniverse), Nintendo Switch fans won’t have to wait long to collect crystals as the world’s smallest and purplest dragon.

The listing on the website for Germany’s GameStop suggests Spyro will be unleashed on the Switch on August 16. It’s great to hear that Switch players will be able to experience what is quite possibly the greatest remaster of the decade, but for some it might not be all that surprising as back in 2018 the official Spyro website listed the trilogy for both PC and Switch.
While the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is said to launch August 16 on the Switch, Tetsuya Nomura has teased in the past that Kingdom Hearts 3 could join Nintendo’s console as well as other hardware.
