Play as Triss Merigold in "Monster Hunter: World"

The Witcher 3 Triss

Fans of The Witcher 3 can now play Monster Hunter: World as Triss Merigold.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you know that The Witcher 3’s crossover event with Monster Hunter: World is now live on consoles. If you don’t know what the crossover is, it’s a "perfect" collaboration that lets you slay Monster Hunter’s ginormous critters as the one and only Geralt of Rivia. However, if you’re a bigger fan of Geralt’s love interests, then you’ll be pleased to know there’s a mod that allows players to assume the role of the fiery lass, Triss.

Unfortunately, the mod is nothing more than a 3D model replacement that lets gamers play as Geralt in his lover’s skin. This means that there’s no magic or voodoo, and that Triss now sounds like a middle-aged man who has smoked way too many cigarettes.

As mentioned by Dark Side Of Gaming, modder ‘crimsonfaust’ hasn’t mentioned if they plan to add Merigold’s powers to the Monster Hunter universe, but it’s probably unlikely. There’s also no word on if they’ll do another mod for Geralt’s best girl, Yennefer.

If you’re interested in slaying monsters as Triss Merigold in Monster Hunter: World, then you can download the mod from here.
