Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are challenging for the fourth place in the Premier League table this season.

Michael Owen predicted on the Saturday Morning Savage show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday morning (11:36am, February 9, 2019) that Arsenal will not finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

Owen believes that the battle for the fourth and final Champions League spot in the Premier League table this season is between his former club Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Red Devils are fourth in the league table at the moment with 51 points from 26 matches, a point ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea, who are fifth and sixth respectively in the standings.

Former United and Liverpool striker Owen said on the Saturday Morning Savage show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday morning (11:36am, February 9, 2019): “I think it’s between them (Manchester United) and Chelsea. I can’t really see Arsenal getting that fourth place.”

No chance for Arsenal?

United have been rejuvenated and revitalised under caretaker-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has yet to taste defeat in his role.

The Red Devils are in great form, but Chelsea and Arsenal are going to push them hard until the end of the season.

Arsenal may not be looking particular great at the moment and there are defensive issues, but the Gunners have a brilliant attacking lineup, and Unai Emery is a brilliant manager.
