Kalvin Phillips delighted Leeds United's travelling support by scoring an injury-time header to equalise as the Whites drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon - which delighted Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt.
Phillips, 23, scored in the 101st minute to salvage a point as Marcelo Bielsa's side continue to struggle of late - winning just two of their last seven games. The match lasted so long due to Jack Clarke falling ill.
Leeds looked set to lose a fifth game of seven after Lewis Wing had put Middlesbrough in the lead just after the restart, slamming the ball past Kiko Casilla from just inside the penalty area.
But Phillips notched his first of the season and took his career tally at Leeds to 10 goals, by heading home after Liam Cooper knocked a corner into his path. The midfielder posted on Instagram after the match.
Leeds remain second in the Championship, but are now two points behind Norwich City. Sheffield United's failure to keep hold of a 3-0 advantage over Fulham sees the Blades remain three points behind Leeds.
Former Leeds midfielders Cook and Mowatt - who play for AFC Bournemouth and Barnsley respectively - reacted to the midfielders' Instagram post, applauding Phillips for his goal.
Leeds are next in action on Wednesday night, playing host to Swansea City at Elland Road.
