Gary Lineker has praised Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff on Twitter for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Longstaff featured for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Wolves away from home at the Molineux Stadium on Monday evening.
The 21-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Longstaff - and so was Newcastle legend Shearer.
Shearer has criticised goalkeeper Martin Dubravka for conceding the late equaliser.

This @Wolves side don’t give up. What a sickener though for @NUFC. Rafa’s raging.
