Leeds United will take on Swansea City and Bolton Wanderers in their next two matches.
Midfielder Forshaw and left-back Douglas are on the sidelines at the moment, and the 27-year-old and the 29-year-old did not feature for Leeds in their 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has suggested that Forshaw could feature against Swansea City at Elland Road in the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Bielsa has also suggested that Douglas should be available for their Championship match against Bolton Wanderers at home on February 23.
When asked for an update on Douglas and Forshaw, Bielsa told Leeds Live: “We’ll see if Forshaw can play against Swansea. For Douglas I think it will be difficult, but he should be available after that game.”
Good news for Leeds United fans
Douglas is one of the best left-backs in the Championship, while Forshaw is an important player in the Leeds midfield.
With the duo nearing full fitness, it must be very encouraging for Leeds and will enhance their chances of finishing in the top two of the Championship this season.
