Leeds United are faring well under Marcelo Bielsa this season, and his exploits may be turning some heads elsewhere.
The Whites struck a major coup to land Bielsa over the summer as a replacement for Paul Heckingbottom, with few able to predict just how the season would pan out.
Known as 'El Loco', Bielsa has been a maverick throughout his career. Some were thinking he could do great things like he did with Athletic Bilbao and Marseille, or leave after a day like he did at Lazio.
Leeds have been superb under Bielsa, sitting second in the Championship table, and subsequently look like a solid bet to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Intriguingly though, The Mirror report that Everton are now interested in Bielsa, and may make a move if they choose to sack Marco Silva in the near future.
Everton officials have allegedly been impressed with Bielsa's first season in English football, and may attempt to lure the Argentine from Elland Road.
In truth, it seems unlikely that Bielsa would give up the Leeds project for an unstable job at Goodison Park, and Whites fans have been taking to Twitter to give their reactions.
Some believe that Everton are a 'smaller club' than Leeds and would subsequently be a step backwards, with others simply writing off any chance of him leaving.
Many noted that Bielsa isn't a man interested in the money and would prefer to see out a project, firmly feeling that there is no way he will be heading to Everton any time soon.
So now Bielsa being linked with Everton if they sack Silva not happening peeps not happening #LUFC— Roger D. (@RogerDixon3) February 10, 2019
Interesting speculation about Bielsa to Everton and Clarke to Liverpool. Assuming we can get up this season why would a) Our manager go to a smaller club and b) our best youngster just go & sit on a bench for most of the season. Let's see if anything comes of these #lufc #mot— Mike Whorley (@mikewhorley) February 10, 2019
Not a chance he leaves Leeds. He is on a mission— Simon Dwyer (@Riggins69) February 9, 2019
Apparently Everton are after bielsa, I'm here to tell the fans not to get Hope's up he isn't driven by money and it doesn't matter that you are in the top league he is a loyal person to a club (unless he disagrees with something) good luck for the rest of the season tho— The Spy (@DeanDJ89) February 10, 2019
Oh Dear !! Look at the man and see what he is about. It’s not about money for this guy he loves football and the group of players who he as grown to trust and love. You would have thought the gutter press was a little more educated than that. #lowlife— Terry Gates (@dansfootprints) February 10, 2019
Bielsa is far to much of a noble man to walk away from Leeds. Wouldn't happen. I'd put my life on that. #lufc— Josh (@superleedsmacca) February 10, 2019
Major step backwards for him imo— terry byrne (@terrybyrne2) February 10, 2019
