Celtic fans on Twitter are mocking Rangers striker Jermain Defoe.

The Rangers hitman went to ground in the box during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup.

But television replays indicate that there was no contact from Scott Boyd on the Gers' player - and Celtic fans are slating him.

It comes a week after Defoe won a questionable penalty in the win over St Mirren last week, with the 36-year-old claiming afterwards that he doesn't dive [The Scottish Sun].

Here is how Celtic supporters reacted to the perceived theatrics on Saturday.

Some Hoops fans are calling for a two-match ban, but no penalty was awarded and therefore retrospective action is not an option.

The incident is bound to infuriate Steve Clarke, who has been verbally sparring with Rangers boss Steven Gerrard over the past seven days after the Scot intimated that Defoe should have received a ban for his alleged dive last week.

Clarke's player Jordan Jones, who will join the Ibrox outfit this summer, was banned for simulation earlier in the season, hence why the Killie boss was looking for consistency.
