Brie Larson takes us back to the 90s to crack some Skrull skulls.

With a new trailer having premiered during last week’s Super Bowl and an imminent release date of March 8 fast approaching, fans have been given another early glimpse of Brie Larson as the eponymous Captain Marvel.

Set in the 90s, some time prior to the events of the Avengers franchise, the TV spot — also posted to Twitter earlier today by Marvel Studios — sees Larson’s titular character (real name Carol Danvers) battling Skrull forces with gusto.

Also featuring Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou, the film follows Danvers’ training at the hands of the Kree and her subsequent return to Earth, and journey to become one of the MCU’s most powerful heroes.

With Captain Marvel due for release March 8, 2019, you can watch this latest teaser in the embedded tweet above. In the meantime, for something a little different, check out the first trailer for the upcoming Child’s Play remake.
