New "Dumbo" trailer teases Michael Keaton's villain

Dumbo - Dumbo

The latest trailer for Tim Burton's live-action Dumbo gives us our best look at the film yet

Tim Burton's live-action Dumbo has just got a brand new trailer with little over a month to go until the new film's release.

The trailer for Disney's latest live-action remake can be viewed below.

As you can expect, the film will largely follow the story of the 1941 animated original but with some tweaks to entice new audiences as well as Tim Burton's twisted take on the tale.

We get a glimpse of the film's main cast which includes Colin Farrell, Eva Green and Danny DeVito as well as our best look yet at the film's human antagonist, V.A. Vandemere, played by Michael Keaton in a delightfully devilish wig.

It sure is going to be a busy year for the 'house of mouse' with nine major film releases coming from various branches of the Disney tree in 2019.

Disney will surely be hoping their latest live-action remake can be as successful as 2017's Beauty and the Beast which raked in over $1 Billion at the box office. If not, then remakes of their 90s classics, The Lion King and Aladdin will surely bring in the bucks later in the year.

Tim Burton's live-action Dumbo will be released on March 29, 2019.

On a quick side-note, the film also signals the reunion of director, Tim Burton, with actors Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito who worked together on 1992's Batman Returns.
