The Baggies head into tonight's clash on the back of a mixed run of form that has seen them win five, lose two and draw three of their last 10 outings in all competitions.
They currently sit in fourth spot in the Championship table, seven points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
As good as a cup run will be for West Brom, promotion back to the Premier League very much remans their bread and butter, so tonight's clash is somewhat of a free hit for Darren Moore's side.
Brighton, meanwhile, are in the midst of a really poor run, having failed to win in their last five games in all competitions.

They are far from safe from the threat of relegation, with just five points currently separating them from the drop zone, so they too will surely be prioritising the league over a run in the FA Cup.
That isn't to suggest that either West Brom or Brighton would not want to progress through to he fifth round of the competition, however.
The game kicks off tonight at 20:05.
