Queens Park Rangers will be looking to get back to winning ways when they welcome Portsmouth to Loftus Road, and midfielder Ryan Manning could be set for a return to the starting XI.

Tuesday's FA Cup fourth round replay will likely provide more minutes for the Republic of Ireland man, who played the whole game when the sides met at Fratton Park in the first tie.

Rangers have only recorded one win in 2019 and have lost their last three league games on the bounce; a run that Steve McClaren's men must end come the final whistle.

The QPR manager knows just how tricky an opponent Portsmouth can be, and the likes of Manning will need to be at their very best to progress to round five.

If McClaren does opt to start Manning, it will be a toss-up between Massimo Luongo and Josh Scowen to start alongside him, with the usual back five filling their roles.

Joe Lumley will take the gloves with skipper Toni Leistner and Joel Lynch playing centre-back, with Jack Bidwell left-back and Darnell Furlong on the right.

Luke Freeman and Pawel Wszolek will likely be occupying their respective attacking roles with young hopeful Eberechi Eze playing behind Nahki Wells, who is expected to lead the line.

If the Rs can edge past the League One promotion hopefuls, it'll be the first time they have progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup for 22 years.
