Sheffield Wednesday new-boy Dominic Iorfa sat down for an exclusive interview with The Star, and shared how former Wolves man Danny Batth sold him on the idea of moving to Hillsborough.
The 23-year-old left Molineux for the Owls on transfer deadline day last month for an undisclosed fee, and he is expected to be a great asset for the south Yorkshire outfit.
Iorfa hasn't featured regularly for Wolves over the past couple of years, so his move to Sheffield Wednesday will surely do his career the world of good, what with the increased game-time that he is expected to receive under Steve Bruce.
One of the right-back's former colleagues at Molineux - Danny Batth, now of Stoke City, spent two separate loan spells with the Owls earlier in his career, and the new Wednesday signing told The Star how the 28-year-old convinced him to join Bruce's revolution at Hillsborough:
"Danny Batth was my captain at Wolves and he only spoke good things about the club. He sold it to me as well. He enjoyed it here a lot and made some good friends. He said the fanbase was really good and only had good things to say about the club."
Iorfa is yet to make his debut for Wednesday, but he could make his Hillsborough bow on Saturday, when Bruce's side play host to fellow Championship strugglers Reading.
