With less than three months until release, a new teaser for Avengers: Endgame has dropped!
Another year, another Super Bowl. It may be the biggest night in the American sporting calendar but its also a huge night for us film fans.
Each year we’re treated to a whole swathe of teasers, trailers and TV spots and this year, you could say, was just that little bit extra special.
That’s because of a certain superhero movie coming out in April… Avengers: Endgame.
You may have heard of it.
Well, we were lucky enough to get another glimpse of the biggest film of 2019.
You can watch the Super Bowl TV spot below.
The teaser, while short, gives us plenty of new footage to ogle until the film’s release in April, while unbelievably avoiding any spoilers.
It opens with a quick-cutting, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it montage of each of the Avengers who fell to Thanos in Infinity War before we get to the juicy new footage.
We see the destruction Thanos left behind when he wiped out half of Earth’s population. Not only in a desolate New York City but the psychological trauma Infinity War left behind for the survivor’s of Thanos’ snap.
Cap, now beardless, narrates the short teaser saying: “some people move on, but not us.”
It’s clear that the scars left by Infinity War are still fresh and Cap is clearly out for revenge.
The teaser also offers up very, and I mean very short glimpses of each of the surviving heroes as they begin their quest to defeat the victorious titan.
It may not show much, but any sliver of new Avengers: Endgame is definitely welcome!
We certainly can’t wait for April 25.
