The Tottenham Hotspur striker has not played since injuring his ankle last month.
Tottenham hitman Harry Kane spoke exclusively to Sky Sports last night, and provided an update on his recovery from the ankle injury that he sustained last month, suggesting that as long as swelling stays away, he will be making really positive progress.
Many predicted that Tottenham would really struggle when Kane was ruled out for around six weeks, but the rest of the team have really stepped up and contributed in the final third.
The England international spoke exclusively to Sky Sports last night, and insisted that his ankle feels great at the moment, despite urging caution regarding potential swelling:
"I never put a time on any of my injuries. It's just how it feels. The ankle feels great the moment. So long as the swelling stays away we can keep progressing and that would be great."
Mauricio Pochettino will be praying that Kane returns to action sooner than was first expected.
Fernando Llorente has done well during his teammate's absence, but Tottenham really are a completely different animal when the Englishman is fit and firing on all cylinders.
