Ipswich Town supporters have been left unconvinced by Aston Villa loanee James Bree, after his debut.
Dean Smith decided to loan Bree out until the end of the season, as Villa aim to get him more first-team experience.
The right-back has only had a limited amount of game time at Villa this term, and with Smith strengthening at the back over January, his first-team chances appeared limited.
As a result Villa decided to let Ipswich use Bree until the end of the season, but he struggled on debut.
Ipswich, who are currently stuck at the bottom of the Championship table, were beaten 1-0 by Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
And Ipswich fans were not exactly raving about the Villa loanee after the match.
Quaner not involved unless he’s out of position on the left wing, some nice touches from Judge, Bree unconvincing.— Phil Pritchard (@Phil_Pritchard) February 2, 2019
Nsiala gone 45 minutes without maiming someone. #ITFC

Thought the back two were ok today, Kenlock proving what I always thought, not good enough, shocking today, Bree unconvincing debut.— Andy Powell (@Zipster_UK) February 2, 2019
Still absolutely no creativity, lucky it was only 1-0.
and if you mention the ref you can do one, we have to take the blame #itfc
Nsiala played well, Bishop, Kenlock good, judge's movement excellent. Keane impressed. Not sure about Bree yet. There's still hope. #itfc— David Flisher (@david_flisher) February 2, 2019
I know it was only his first game yesterday but wasn’t very impress with James Bree.— Chris Peach (@ChrisPitfc) February 3, 2019
Skuse was also very poor
Kenlock hit & miss
Toto did ok but switched off twice
Downes poor 1st half better 2nd
Quaner very isolated
Judge needs to play as a no 10#itfc
Despite his shaky start, Bree is likely to keep his place in Paul Lambert’s side for their next match, which comes against rivals Norwich City.
