The forgotten Tottenham Hotspur gem is resurgent these days.

Tottenham Hotspur talent Marcus Edwards is continuing to impress on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder started his third successive Eredivisie game for Excelsior and helped his loan side to a 2-1 victory over Rotterdam rivals Feyenoord today.
It took a while for him to find his feet in the Netherlands after joining the Dutch side on a season-long loan from Tottenham, but it looks like he is enjoying his football again.
Edwards, who scored his first of the season last month, was a thorn in Feyenoord’s side all afternoon, before being substituted on 90 minutes for defender Robin Van der Meer.
And here is what some Spurs and neutral fans made of the gem’s display:
Edwards is a huge talent and at 20, there is still time for him to salvage what could be a glittering career.
He was sent back to Tottenham last April after a poor loan spell at Norwich comprising of just one Championship appearance, before Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino, who once likened him to Lionel Messi, is reported to have developed concerns over his attitude [The Telegraph].
But if he maintains this form in the Netherlands then maybe, just maybe, he will be given a chance to show Pochettino how much he has matured this summer.
