Aston Villa have brought in Tyrone Mings from Bournemouth on loan.

Aston Villa fans have been left seriously confused after Dean Smith suggested Tyrone Mings would be used as a centre-back.
Smith signed Mings on loan for Villa from Bournemouth on deadline day, and it was widely anticipated that he would replace Neil Taylor in the claret and blues’ first-team.
Mings has generally impressed most when playing at left-back.
However, Smith has suggested that he could use the powerful defender’s versatility to his advantage, and put him into Villa’s side at centre-back.
He said to the Birmingham Mail: “Bringing In Tyrone Mings gives us two left footed centre backs. Who can both also play at left back. We’ve bought him in to play at centre back.”
The comments have not gone down brilliantly with Villa supporters though, who were hoping that Mings would play at left-back.
Mings has caught the eye at Championship level previously, and should make Villa’s defence much stronger.
Smith has made no secret of his desire to bring in defensive recruits at Villa Park and he has got his wish this month.
Villa made four signings in January, with Lovre Kalinic, Kortney Hause and Tom Carroll all arriving alongside Mings.
