"The Twilight Zone" with Jordan Peele will premiere in April

Cult-favourite TV series The Twilight Zone will be back on screens this year.

Classic anthology TV series The Twilight Zone is returning to our screens with brand new episodes. The original series  - created by Rod Serling - showcased a variety of strange scenarios entrenched in genres from science fiction to horror.

There are so many iconic episodes, and numerous filmmakers have paid homage and referenced the show, drawing inspiration from its daring and thought-provoking ideas. 

It is now set to return, inviting new generations to take a trip into the darkest zones of our universe. This latest series will be hosted and narrated by Academy Award-winner Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us), and will premiere April 1, 2019, as a CBS exclusive. According to Collider, the series will debut with two episodes, which will be followed by weekly episodes from April 11. Episode details are currently mysterious, but a number of actors the likes of Steven Yeun, Taissa Farmiga, Adam Scott, Greg Kinnear and more will grace the cast.
