Bojan is out of favour at Stoke and was linked with West Brom in the summer.
The Daily Mail have claimed in their live transfer blog (Thursday, 15:09) that Stoke City attacker Bojan can join Turkish SuperLig side Sivasspor, but is waiting to see if West Bromwich Albion renew their summer interest.
Still only 28, Bojan is out of favour at Stoke City and the appointment of Nathan Jones from Luton Town has not helped his cause. The playmaker is yet to play for Jones, but did return to the bench for the first time in 11 league games last time out.
In the summer, a report from the Sun (print edition Sunday September 2nd 2018, page 59) claimed West Brom had tried to sign the Spain international. A move was made on deadline day, but nothing materialised.
Now, Bojan is waiting to see if Darren Moore’s side want to lure him to the Hawthorns, with his spell at Stoke seemingly at an end – though he still has 18 months remaining on his contract.
It remains to be seen if indeed West Brom are interested, who need additions in the final third after losing Harvey Barnes to Leicester City, Oliver Burke to Celtic and Bakary Sako to Crystal Palace.
But a move between now and Thursday’s 11pm deadline for Bojan – who is earning £48,000 a week (Spotrac) – is unlikely, which would suggest that the ex-Ajax and AC Milan star may have to settle for a move to Sivasspor.
