Leeds United and Swansea City have yet to reach an agreement over a permanent transfer for James.

Leeds United are taking Daniel James on loan ahead of a potential summer transfer from Swansea City, according to the Sun’s printed edition [page 58].
The two clubs have so far failed to negotiate a fee for the winger, who has 18 months to run on his Swansea contract.
And with little more than 12 hours left to reach and agreement, it is suggested Leeds have adopted an alternative approach.
The Sun reports the Whites will pay £1 million to lend James – but only have to buy him if they go up.

And the newspaper adds the deal could cost up to £10 million if Marcelo Bielsa’s side reach the Premier League.
James has scored two goals and created three in 18 Championship games for Swansea this season, his first in the Welsh side’s senior set up.
The 21-year-old Wales international was born in Beverley – around 60 miles east of Leeds.
