Celtic have surprisingly decided to keep out-of-favour duo Jack Hendry and Jonny Hayes at Parkhead until the end of the season, according to TEAMtalk.
With Brendan Rodgers keen to trim the fat this month, it was expected that centre-back Hendry would be allowed to leave, one year after he arrived from Dundee for £1.5 million.
Hayes, meanwhile, has also slipped down the pecking order and TEAMtalk claimed on Wednesday that Aberdeen were set to bring him back to Pittodrie. Hayes shone during the 2016/17 season with the Dons, scoring 11 goals and setting up 24 more.
But TEAMtalk have now claimed that Celtic have decided to keep the Republic of Ireland international and will make a decision at the end of the season.
Scotland international Hendry, meanwhile, was set to join League One outfit Bradford but Celtic have now performed a dramatic U-turn and called the deal off.
One player is expected to be on his way out of Glasgow, however, with left-back Calvin Miller understood to be on his way to Wycombe Wanderers on a temporary basis.
The 21-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Dundee, providing three assists in 16 matches.
