The 32-year-old striker is currently plying his trade in France with Ligue 1 high-flyers Lille but he has struggled to make an impression with Les Dogues, scoring just once in 15 appearances.
And, with Remy one of the club’s highest earners, Le 10 Sport claims that Lille are hoping to get the Frenchman off their wage bill before the end of January and have offered Cardiff the chance to take him to South Wales.

Remy might have flopped in recent months but he has a decent track record in English football. The 30-time France international impressed during a loan spell at Queens Park Rangers before scoring 14 goals in 26 top flight games for Newcastle United during the 2013/14 season.
