UK audiences will be seeing Avengers: Endgame sooner than expected.
Marvel Studios are promising the blockbuster event of the year with Avengers: Endgame. The Russo Brothers left audiences shocked and terrified for the fate of numerous characters in the wake of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War; it was refreshing to see the high-concept approach incorporate more cynical, distressing narrative content.
The film proved to be the cinematic highlight of 2018 for so many, and expectations for this year's follow-up are tremendously high. The trailer provided fans with no solace, as it continued the dark tone of its predecessor while insinuating darker days to come.
According to Comscore, UK audiences will be able to see Avengers: Endgame twenty-four hours earlier. The film was originally scheduled for Friday 26 April 2019 but has instead been moved forward a day to Thursday 25 April.
