HITC Sport understands, Barnet have rejected three bids from Football League clubs for FA Cup hero Shaquile Coulthirst.
Accrington, Mansfield and Northampton have had offers rejected by Barnet for FA Cup hero Shaquile Coulthirst, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Coulthirst enhanced his growing reputation with two goals in Monday’s draw with Championship side Brentford in the fourth round of the FA Cup to help National League Barnet earn a replay.
The 24-year-old has been on the stars of Barnet’s impressive FA Cup run, scoring the winner in the shock 1-0 victory at high-flying Sheffield United in the third round.
Coulthirst has scored eight goals in 17 games in all competitions for Barnet so far this season and his performances have not gone unnoticed among clubs higher up the football pyramid.
League One Accrington and League Two duo Mansfield and Northampton have all made bids for Coulthirst which have been rejected by Barnet as they battle to keep hold of their prize asset
The former Tottenham youngster is understood to be keen to test himself at a higher level after failing to make the breakthrough at Spurs, but his goals in the FA Cup have proved he can mix it against higher level opposition having scored against Championship duo Sheffield United and Brentford.
Coulthirst had five different loan spells away from Tottenham during his time at the club before joining Peterborough in 2016 and after one year at London Road he joined Barnet.
