The Strokes headlining All Points East Festival

Singer Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and Voidz performs onstage during Beach Goth Festival at Los Angeles State Historic Park on August 5, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

London's All Points East Festival has just secured The Strokes.

The Strokes are among the very best band to emerge from New York City at the dawn of the new century. Forming in 1998, they released their debut studio record Is This It in 2001, and only proved to grow from there. Now, they're returning to the UK.

All Points East Festival takes place over ten days at London's Victoria Park, with six headline shows and four days of other activities. So far the headline acts announced are Bring Me the Horizon, Bon Iver, Christine and the Queens, The Chemical Brothers, and now The Strokes.

They will be playing on Saturday, 25 May 2019, and will be joined by the likes of The Raconteurs, Johnny Marr, Parquet Courts, Jarvis Cocker, Anna Calvi, and another of NYC's finest, Interpol. It's set to be a great day of live music, as are the other days. Each day is shaping up to be something really special, so be sure to check out the full line-up and get your hands on some tickets
