Lucas Alario could reporteldy leave the Bundesliga for the Premier League with Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City keen on the Argentina striker.

Cardiff City have made a big-money bid for Bayer Leverkusen striker Lucas Alario, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The 26-year-old Argentina international has endured a difficult season in the Bundesliga, scoring just twice in 15 appearances for Leverkusen and has lost his place in the starting XI as a result.
But, despite his difficult run of form, it is understood that Cardiff are keen to bring Alario to South Wales before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
The report claims that Neil Warnock’s side have made a bid to sign Alario on loan with a compulsory purchase option. The offer amounts to around £14 million.
Leverkusen have so far rebuffed Cardiff’s approaches, however, as they want to keep the skilful centre-forward until the end of the season.

The 2001 Champions League runners-up recently appointed former Ajax and Dortmund coach Peter Bosz and the swashbuckling Dutchman will be keen to offer every one of his players a clean slate. Alario scored nine goals in his debut season for the German giants after arriving from River Plate.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that Cardiff will make a new offer this week, however, so Leverkusen will need to stand firm.
Cardiff are stuck in the Premier League’s relegation zone, having scored 19 goals in 23 games.
