Rangers will be looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon.
Jermain Defoe has excitedly posted on Instagram as he prepares to make his second Rangers appearance since joining the club on loan from AFC Bournemouth, against Livingston on Sunday afternoon.
Defoe, 36, scored on his debut during Rangers' 2-1 loss to Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, but was largely quiet throughout the match after Steven Gerrard opted to play him up front with Alfredo Morelos.
The defeat saw Rangers slip three points behind leaders Celtic, with the Hoops still boasting a game in hand. Rangers need to beat Livingston to return to second, and close the gap once again to three after Celtic beat Hamilton on Saturday.
Defoe may start up front again with Colombia international Morelos and he posted on Instagram his delight after scoring against Killie, as well as his anticipation for Sunday's clash at the Tony Macaroni Stadium.
The last time Rangers visited the Tony Macaroni Stadium, they came away with a 1-0 loss thanks to Dolly Menga's goal. But Rangers did beat the newly-promoted side 3-0 last time out - thanks to goals from Daniel Candeias, Scott Arfield and Morelos.
Following just three wins in their last nine league and cup outings, Gerrard will be desperate to see his side gain a crucial three points to keep the Scottish Premiership title race alive.
