Leicester City are allegedly lining up a move for the Monaco ace.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Leicester are considering a swoop for Monaco ace Youri Tielemans before the transfer window slams shut next week.

Foxes boss Claude Puel is thought to be desperate to bolster his midfield ranks at the King Power Stadium, with more creativity and guile needed.

And the Mail claims that Monaco’s Tielemans is one of Leicester’s key targets, as the Frenchman looks to strengthen his options in the hope of guiding his side to a top seven finish this season.

The Sun suggests that the 21-year-old would cost in excess of £21.5 million, however.

The Belgian is an incredibly talented central midfield player, and he is really highly rated within the game.

He is already vastly experienced, despite his tender years, having made and incredible 249 senior appearances in all competitions during his fledgling career thus far.

Tielemans would be an exceptional signing for Leicester, should Puel manage to bring him to the King Power, and for the reported price of just £21.5 million, the east Midlands outfit could be on the verge of securing themselves a real coup.
