The Hoops right-back’s display in the 3-0 win over Accies split the fanbase, with some deeming him “totally finished” and others thinking he played well.

Celtic fans have had an afternoon to remember as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Hamilton Academical at Parkhead, while Scottish Premiership title challengers Aberdeen and Kilmarnock played out a goalless draw, which put Brendan Rodgers’ side three points clear at the summit.
The Hoops struggled to find the breakthrough for much of the first half as Accies goalkeeper Ryan Fulton denied the reigning champions with several smart saves, but was then guilty of a howler in the 40th minute when he allowed Callum McGregor’s effort to slip through his legs.
Celtic then doubled their lead in the 77th minute as McGregor was once again the tormentor, his cross coming off Fulton’s chest and allowing Ryan Christie the opportunity to tap home from close range to all but kill off the outcome of the game.
Things would get even better for the hosts as Scott Sinclair made sure Rodgers would get a great 46th birthday present by sealing a comprehensive clean-sheet win, his clinical header three minutes from time the cherry on top.

Despite the win, some Celtic fans were nonetheless critical of some aspects of the game, and Mikael Lustig’s performance in particular was slammed by some of the Paradise faithful on Twitter:
