Yohan Cabaye only left Crystal Palace in July but could reporteldy be on his way back to the Premier League from Al Nasr.
Crystal Palace have been offered the chance to bring Yohan Cabaye back to Selhurst Park on a free transfer, according to The Mail.
The 33-year-old midfielder played for The Eagles between 2015 and 2018 but bid farewell six months ago, joining Al Nasr after his contract expired.
But, just a quarter of the way through his two year deal with the Saudi side, Cabaye finds himself without a club after being released in January.
And The Mail reports that Crystal Palace have been offered the chance to bring the former Lille and Paris Saint-Germain ace back to London before the transfer window shuts next week.
With funds tight at Selhurst Park, Roy Hodgson should give serious consideration to re-signing Cabaye, particularly after he failed to sign another experienced midfielder in John Obi Mikel.
The Gazette reports that Mikel turned down a move to Palace because he could not be guaranteed first-team football and joined Middlesbrough instead.
Crystal Palace paid £10 million to sign Cabaye from PSG four years ago (Guardian) and he quickly became a fans’ favourite with his excellent passing range and superb set-piece delivery.
