Newcastle United are reportedly hoping to bring Italian international Spinazzola to the Premier League from Serie A champions Juventus.

Newcastle United are interested in signing the highly-rated Juventus full-back Leonardo Spinazzola before the end of the transfer window, according to The Chronicle.
And comments made about the 25-year-old by Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri certainly make for interesting reading for fans of the cash-strapped Magpies.
Spinazzola graduated from the Juventus academy but was forced to wait until last week to make his debut for the Serie A giants thanks to a series of injuries that have dogged him since he returned from two impressive seasons out on loan at Atalanta.
But the five-cap Italy international certainly made the most of a rare opportunity, producing an eye-catching display in last week’s 2-0 Coppa Italia victory against Bologna.
Speaking after the game, Allegri made no effort to play down just how impressed he was by Spinazzola’s first ever start in the famous black and white kit.

“He had an excellent match,” the former AC Milan boss said, as reported by Goal.
“It was good for his first game back. He’s an important player for us.”
Unfortunately for Newcastle, Allegri added that he is keen to keep Spinazzola at the Allianz Stadium for the rest of the season.
This could scupper Benitez’s plans with The Chronicle claiming that the Spaniard has been in touch with Juventus about a potential deal for the versatile defender.
