Funko reveals a snazzy set of Persona 5 Pop! figures, and an Australian Classification rating teases Persona Q2 for the west and Nintendo Switch.

As if there wasn’t enough to look forward to for Atlus and Persona fans, Funko recently revealed a set of Persona 5 Pop! Figures at the London Toy Fair, and an Australian Classification rating suggests Persona Q2 is coming to the west and Nintendo Switch.

The collection includes Panther (Ann Takamaki), Skull (Ryuji Sakamoto), Morgana, and – of course – Persona 5 protagonist Joker. There’s no ‘best girl’ Makoto, and Futaba is noticeably missing as well, but you’d expect them to be included as part of The Phantom Thieves at or after launch.

Funko hasn’t announced an official release date, but the figures are expected this year and could be available February 26 according to Persona Central. While we of course want Makoto and Futaba, we also hope there will be figures for the Palace distortions of Suguru Kamoshida, Masayoshi Shida, and Sae Nijima.

If you’re a fan of Persona but not Pop! Figures, then you’ll be pleased to know Atlus will announce more about Persona 5 R in March. Predicted to be an extended edition similar to Persona 3: FES and Persona 4: Golden, Persona 5 R(ed) is also rumoured for the Nintendo Switch. And, because Atlus are seemingly determined to make Persona bigger than ever, an Australian Classification rating hints that Japan’s Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will be coming to the west for the 3DS and Nintendo Switch.

There’s no official release date for the Persona 5 Funko Pop! Figures, but they are expected this year. If successful, hopefully Funko will create a set of Catherine: Full Body figures, too.
