Leeds United defender Conor Shaughnessy’s loan spell in Scotland got off to an ideal start on Sunday.
The Leeds loanee made his debut for Hearts in their Scottish Cup win over top flight opponents Livingston.
Livingston beat Hearts 5-0 in their previous meeting last month. This weekend they won 1-0.
Leeds centre-back Shaughnessy sent a message on Twitter after his successful debut.
Shaughnessy had struggled to make an impact at Leeds this season and was not in manager Marcelo Bielsa’s plans.
Strong performances at Hearts are key to his chances of future success, whether it be at Leeds or elsewhere.
He is off to a good start and Hearts fans are impressed with the 22-year-old Irishman.
