Wolves are reportedly 'very close' to signing Lyon defender Tete.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Olympique Lyonnais defender Kenny Tete before the end of the January transfer window - and Wolves fans are in meltdown on Twitter.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque have claimed that the 23-year-old is close to a move to the Midlands, despite Spanish side Real Betis said to be interested in luring him to La Liga.
The 12-time Holland international remains in and around the first team at Lyon, and has appeared in the Champions League this season for Lyon. They face Barcelona in the last 16 next month.
But Brazilian right-back Rafael and Leo Dubois have forced Tete down the pecking order, limiting the former Ajax star to just 11 league and cup appearances. ClubCall claim Wolves can land Tete for £7million.
A Dutch Eredivisie champion, Tete has plenty of calibre and is certainly regarded as one of the best young right-backs in European football - a position that Wolves should be looking to strengthen.

Matt Doherty's poor form has seen him dropped from Wolves side, with Ruben Vinagre playing against Leicester City in the 4-3 win on Saturday. Vinagre is a left-back, and Tete would certainly fill a hole.
Wolves fans reacted to the news that their club are reportedly 'very close' to the signing of Tete - as per the report - with many desperate to see him put pen to paper at Molineux.
This would be great if it happens as it would create good competition in the RB and RWB positions in the Wolves’ team.
