Nottingham Forest lost 1-0 at home to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.

Nottingham Forest welcomed new boss Martin O’Neill back to the City Ground on Saturday afternoon – but it ended in defeat as Forest lost 1-0 to Bristol City.
Forest saw Aitor Karanka leave the club last Friday, and it took just days to find a replacement as O’Neill returned to the club.
A former midfielder for Forest during the Brian Clough era, O’Neill won two European Cups for Forest as well as a First Division title, becoming a hero with the club.
O’Neill has recently left his role as Republic of Ireland boss, and is back in management having been handed a return to his former club.
Forest took on Bristol City in O’Neill’s first game back, but fell to a 1-0 defeat to the Robins as Famara Diedhiou struck a second half winner.
O’Neill has plenty to think about, and he may have to dip back into the transfer market, having already made one new signing.

O’Neill raided former club Leicester City to bring in centre back Yohan Benablouane on loan, and handed him a first start on Saturday, picking up a booking in the 1-0 defeat.
Forest fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that Benalouane was ‘very very good’ on his debut, praising him for a ‘decent’ showing as the Tunisian showed what he’s capable of under O’Neill with a strong display.
