Joselu has struggled at St. James’ Park since his move to Newcastle.

Joselu is reportedly the target of a Chinese Super League side this month with Newcastle United in talks to secure a deal that would see the Spaniard leave after just 18 months – and Newcastle fans are keen to see the back of him.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed Tianjin Teda want to sign 28-year-old Joselu and are in talks with Newcastle over a potential move for the ex-Stoke City striker.
Joselu has struggled since joining Newcastle in the summer of 2017 from Stoke for a fee reportedly in the region of £4.8million. He has managed just seven goals in 49 games – a ratio of one every seven matches.
The colossal striker has played for quite a few different clubs, turning out for Eintracht Frankurt, Hannover 96, Celta Vigo, Hoffenheim, Deportivo La Coruna and even Real Madrid – where he scored two goals in two games.

He has a contract on Tyneside until the summer of 2020 – believed to be worth £40,000 a week (Spotrac) – but if Rafa Benitez wants any kind of spending money this month, he may have to sell in order to raise funds.
Newcastle fans reacted to the news that Joselu was interesting Chinese top-tier outfit Tianjin, and have urged the club to offload the Spaniard who has cost the club almost £700,000 a match.
