The former Leeds United trialist is reportedly set to become an Aston Villa player.
A player previously expected to join Leeds United has shared a photo of himself with the Aston Villa assistant manager, John Terry.
Dimitar Sheytanov is understood to have trialled with Leeds in 2018 and is pictured in Whites training gear on his Instagram account.
A move to Elland Road failed to materialise, however, and Sportal reported last week that Sheytanov - whose Levski Sofia contract expired at the start of this month - was set to sign for Aston Villa instead.
But while no deal has yet been announced by the Villans, the Bulgarian goalkeeper's latest social media post suggests there is, indeed, some truth to the speculation.
Sheytanov posted the following image and caption on Wednesday morning:
Should Sheytanov join Aston Villa, he would become part of an ever-expanding pool of 'keepers, which already contains Lovre Kalinic, Orjan Nyland, Jed Steer, Andre Moreira, Mark Bunn and Matija Sarkic - twin brother of the Leeds-owned forward, Oliver.
Would Sheytanov be a good addition for Aston Villa?
