Celtic could offer up two players on loan for Sunderland striker Josh Maja.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are pursuing a deal for Sunderland striker Josh Maja, which would see Jack Hendry head out on loan.
The Bhoys have already signed three attacking players this summer, having brought in Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
Brendan Rodgers' attacking options have been bolstered, but links to Sunderland ace Maja have strengthened in recent days.
Now, The Scottish Sun report that Celtic are pursuing a move for Maja, and are prepared to offer up defender Jack Hendry on loan to sweeten the deal.
Midfielder Lewis Morgan could also be sent on loan to the Black Cats, in a move which would see him reunite with his former St Mirren boss Jack Ross at the Stadium of Light.
Maja, 20, has been in fine form this season, smashing 15 goals in 29 games for Sunderland, and he would be a superb addition to the Celtic ranks, reminiscent of Moussa Dembele's move in 2016.

However, it's unclear just how this deal would work. It's noted that Celtic could sign Maja on a pre-contract agreement for minimal compensation thanks to cross-border contract rules.
The only way loaning Hendry and Morgan to Sunderland would make sense is if Maja heads to Celtic immediately to beat the competition, and they attempt to bring down the fee by including the two loans.
Another factor is that Sunderland just signed another defender on loan in Burnley's Jimmy Dunne, so signing Hendry would be a surprise – though Celtic seemingly hope it will tempt them into a deal.
