Now, midfielder Olivier Ntcham is again being linked with a move away, as Portuguese giants Porto are again being linked with a move having wanted the Frenchman over the summer.

This time, The Scottish Sun claim that Porto may offer £14million for Ntcham, and may even throw in defender Chancel Mbemba in a part-exchange deal, presumably with the fee being reduced.

Ntcham, 22, has impressed for Celtic since his 2017 move from Manchester City, but his performance this season have been a little patchy at times.

Celtic may now have a big decision to make, as whilst they would lose a key midfielder, they would also gain a player in a real problem area; centre back.

Mbemba has struggled for playing time with Porto since his summer move from Newcastle United, with Brendan Rodgers potentially keen to rescue him.

Celtic fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumour, and many are quite excited about this potential deal, with some even saying they'll drive Ntcham to the airport or give him a piggyback to Portugal.

Some think Ntcham is too inconsistent, and the chance to land an international defender as well as a stack of cash is just too good to turn down this month.
