Tottenham Hotspur may need a temporary replacement for Harry Kane.

With Heung-Min Son on international duty, Spurs lack options beyond the uninspiring Fernando Llorente.
Fortunately they have a ready made replacement, teenager Troy Parrott.
Parrott demonstrated his quality at the weekend with a man-of-the-match performance for Tottenham’s under-18 side.
The Republic of Ireland youth international scored two goals and created another in a 4-1 victory over Brighton.
Parrott has played regularly at under-23 level this season. He dropped down to the under-18s at the weekend to get some game time with Janssen playing for the under-23s.

Tottenham included Parrott in their travelling squad for the Leicester City away game last month, with manager Mauricio Pochettino showing how much he rates the young forward.
At this early stage, Harry Kane looks a real injury risk for next weekend against Fulham at least, and possibly beyond that.
The game against the Premier League strugglers would be ideal to put Parrott on the bench for, and replace likely starter Llorente.
After that it’s up to him. There’s a strong chance based on the way he has risen to every challenge so far, that he can do enough to overtake the Spaniard and start leading the line in Harry Kane’s absence.
